Early life

editWafula began his career with Chesterfield and made his professional debut on 12 January 2013 in a 3–0 victory against Northampton Town.[3]
In 2014, he signed for Worksop Town.
He then signed for Shaw Lane.
In May 2017 he signed for Gainsborough Trinity.[4]
In February 2018, Wafula signed for National League North club Boston United.[5]
On 10 August 2020, Wafula signed for fellow National League North side Guiseley.[2]
He signed for Northern Premier League Premier Division side Matlock Town on a free transfer in July 2021.[6]
On 14 September 2021, Wafula signed for Grantham Town.[7]
