Hamed Talebi

Hamed Talebi (Persian: حامد طالبی; pronunciationⓘ born 24 July 1991 in Babol)[1] is an Iranian freestyle wrestler.[2] He won the gold medal in the 96 kg weight category at the 2011 World Junior Wrestling Championships held in Bucharest, Romania.[6]at He won the gold medal at the 2008 Asian Championships and the 2011 Asian Championships.[11]

Talebi celebrates after defeating Georgia's Mamukurdzia in the men's 96kg freestyle wrestling event at the 2011 World Championships in Bucharest.

Talebi finished third at the 2011 Men's Freestyle Wrestling World Cup in Germany,[14]and won the gold medal at the 2014 FILA Wrestling World Cup in Los Angeles.[22] Talebi, who was initially a member of the Iranian national freestyle wrestling team in the 84 kg weight class, won 8 gold medals and 1 bronze medal in various Asian and world competitions. He also won the gold medal at the 2018 Babylon World Club Cup with the Bimih Razi team,[29]and the silver medal at the 2019 Bojnord World Club Cup with the Mazandaran Azad University team,[30]the gold medal at the 2009 Mashhad National Championship,[31]the gold medal at the 2010 Razin Golestan International Tournament in Armenia,[32]the gold medal at the 2010 Urmia International Tournament,[33]the gold medal at the 2011 Baku International Tournament in Azerbaijan,[36]the gold medal at the 2011 Sirakov International Tournament in Bulgaria,[40]the bronze medal at the 2012 Russian Empire International Tournament,[46] the gold medal at the 2013 Takhti Cup Tournament in Tehran,[52]the gold medal at the 2019 Takhti Cup Tournament in Kermanshah,[56]and gold medal at the tournament sassari 2019.[58]
