Enes Bulut (born 7 February 2001) is a Turkish karateka. Competing in the 75 kg division of kumite, Bulut represents the Turkey national team and Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediye Kağıtspor.[1][2] He won the silver medal in the boys' kumite +68 kg event at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics. At the European Karate Championships, he won bronze in team kumite in 2023, bronze in the 75 kg event in 2024, and silver in team kumite in 2026.[3][4][5][6] He won a bronze medal in the men's kumite 75 kg event at the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games.[7]

Career

Bulut was born in Kocaeli and began karate in the youth system of Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediye Kağıtspor. He studied at Kocaeli University.[1][2] In June 2018, he qualified for the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics at the qualification tournament held in Umag, Croatia.[3][8] In October 2018, he won the silver medal in the boys' kumite +68 kg event at the Youth Olympics held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.[9][10]

In 2021, he won the gold medal in the U21 men's kumite 75 kg event at the European Cadet, Junior and Under-21 Karate Championships held in Tampere, Finland. According to the World Karate Federation ranking record, he won six bouts and finished the tournament in first place.[2] In 2023, he won the bronze medal in the men's kumite 75 kg event at the Karate1 Premier League stage held in Rabat, Morocco.[2] The same year, he won the bronze medal with the Turkey men's kumite team at the 2023 European Karate Championships held in Guadalajara, Spain. The Turkish team included Eren Akkurt, Uğur Aktaş, Ömer Faruk Arslan, Enes Bulut, Ömer Abdurrahim Özer, Fatih Şen and Ömer Faruk Yürür.[4]

In 2024, he won the silver medal in the men's kumite 75 kg event at the Karate1 Premier League stage held in Paris.[2] The same year, he won the bronze medal in the 75 kg event at the 2024 European Karate Championships held in Zadar, Croatia.[5] In 2025, he won the bronze medal in the men's kumite 75 kg event at the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh.[7]

In 2026, he won the gold medal in the men's kumite 75 kg event at the Karate1 Premier League stage held in Leshan, China. According to the World Karate Federation ranking record, Bulut finished the Leshan 2026 stage in first place with three victories.[2] The same year, he won the silver medal with the Turkey men's kumite team at the 2026 European Karate Championships held in Frankfurt, Germany.[6]
