Note on Populist Party

edit

In response to User:FeralOink's comment on the last review, the Populist Party referenced in this article refers to a white supremacist organization founded in 1984 and affiliated with the Christian Patriot movement. It is a completely separate organization from the more well-known Populist Party that existed from 1892-1909. I added a note to the article draft to clarify this. Ping LaborHistoryFan! Please link me or (preferably) if it isn't too much trouble, just provide a copy and paste right here of the section in the draft where I commented, and the date in the edit notes or of my signature, so I can find and correct what you are referring to. That is much easier than me spending an hour or more (I have been editing Wikipedia since 2011) trying to figure out where and when I messed up. I'm so sorry if I confused an historical populist movement whose existence is well-documented (although only from 1892 to 1909, and keep in mind that we aren't experts on Wikipedia; I am an applied statistician and financial economist IRL but also an American, so American labor history IS important to me) with a far-right wing, Pacific Northwest Christian patriot movement founded 94 years later! And thank you for not being strident or outraged by my error. Thank you.--FeralOink (talk) 00:25, 2 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Ah, I see! You were referring to THIS! Would you like me to look at it again as an AfC? Have you made any other revisions?--FeralOink (talk) 11:16, 2 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
If you'd be willing to review it again I'd greatly appreciate it. I believe I fixed all the issues. Thanks! LaborHistoryFan (talk) 16:09, 2 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Will do tomorrow.--FeralOink (talk) 01:05, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
