Because individual articles are dedicated to each ones of the duchies and focused on their specific histories (and they should be reworked, especially the one about Naples). They fail to give a proper picture of the relations between them, fail to illustrate their ethnic and cultural shared particularism, fail to show they formed a single entity for a while, and because scholars tend to group them and study them together as part of a whole. The same way that you have an article about the Catepanate of Italy and for each of its themes, or one for the Exarchate of Ravenna and each of its duchies, the same logic applies here. ~2026-17385-47 (talk) 08:42, 20 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
