Conflict of interest disclosure

edit

I am Dr P. V. Unnikrishnan, the subject of this draft, and therefore have a conflict of interest under Wikipedia's guidelines. I have tried to base the draft on independent reliable sources (national newspapers, award compendia, journals) and to keep the tone neutral. I am submitting this draft to Articles for Creation and would be grateful if uninvolved editors could review it, make any changes they think appropriate, and decide whether it should be moved to mainspace. Response to AfC review about LLM use

edit

I am Dr P. V. Unnikrishnan, the subject of this draft, and therefore have a conflict of interest. Following the AfC review by User:Pythoncoder, I have substantially revised the draft, added inline citations after each substantive statement, and removed or softened promotional wording. I have based the content on the specific sources listed in the references section (national newspapers, award compendia, institutional sites, journals). I would be grateful if uninvolved editors could review the current version and make any changes they think appropriate. Dr Potheri Vasudevan Unnikrishnan (talk) 13:12, 3 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Response to latest AfC declines (citations and LLM)

edit

I am Dr P. V. Unnikrishnan, the subject of this draft, and therefore have a conflict of interest. In response to the recent AfC declines by User:Pythoncoder and User:Cosmic840 noting concerns about possible large language model use and a lack of inline citations, I have: * Thoroughly rewritten the draft in my own words, working directly from the cited sources; and * Added inline citations after each substantive statement about my career and roles, especially in the lead and sections on Information Kerala Mission, K-DISC/KKEM, innovation programmes, and science/technology initiatives. I will not resubmit the draft again myself. I would be grateful if uninvolved editors could, when convenient, review the current version for neutrality, sourcing, and style, and make any changes they think appropriate or advise on any remaining issues that prevent acceptance. Response to AfC feedback

edit

hank you to the AfC reviewers for looking at this draft.

I am the subject of the article (P. V. Unnikrishnan), so I am aware that this is an autobiographical draft and that I have a conflict of interest. I am trying to follow Wikipedia's policies on verifiability and neutral point of view as closely as I can, and I welcome further independent improvements.

In response to the previous AfC feedback, I have made the following changes:

  • Added inline citations throughout the lead and all sections so that every biographical statement and claim about my work is explicitly supported by a reliable source.
  • Replaced the earlier numbered reference list with named references using standard citation templates.
  • Clarified and tightened some sentences in the lead to avoid repetition and promotional tone, and removed a duplicated paragraph about KSFE and green‑energy work.
  • Revised the “Early life and education” and “Personal life” sections so that they only contain information that is supported by my official biography on the Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council website, and added citations to that source.
  • Trimmed personal details that are not essential for an encyclopaedic biography, in line with the biographies of living persons guideline.

If there are remaining issues with tone, sourcing, or structure, I would appreciate specific advice on how to improve the draft so that it can meet Wikipedia’s standards.
