On sources

edit

I've been looking through this draft. At first I thought a lot of it was uncited, but when I glanced through the sources, it looked like they supported most of the info in the text, and I'd like some information from @Puseblume about them.

Are these four sources used for the article as a whole, or just for the referenced sections? I don't want to find sources if they're already there. It looks like it might just be possible to change these from inline to general references. The BooleanTalk 22:28, 6 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

There was a dead link in Linear least squares since several years, and since this method gained quite some interest by the scientists at CERN and elsewhere, I thought it might be valuable to draft an article.
The references 2, 3, and 4 belong to certain parts only and they should be inline references. Ref 1 is more general. However, since I structured the article into different parts, these parts often have a corresponding discussion also in Ref. 1. Therefore, I think, also a repeated inline ref to Ref 1 is useful for the reader. Puseblume (talk) 06:44, 9 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
