Why I moved the page to Draft:Francis Ouellette
editI am the subject of this article and acknowledge a conflict of interest. I have contributed extensively (but not entirely) to drafting this page to ensure accuracy and welcome independent review and editing.

- I have made several revisions to the draft to address notability and sourcing concerns, including:
- * strengthening the lead section with additional independent sources,
- * adding a Nature article and a PLOS interview as third-party coverage,
- * adding a source for the Genome Québec appointment,
- * trimming sections that read as a CV.
- I welcome further feedback from reviewers and editors.
