Clayco (born Corey Kerr) is an American record producer from Atlanta, Georgia. He has worked extensively with rapper Destroy Lonely, producing tracks including "If Looks Could Kill," "No Stylist," and "Bane."[1][2] He founded the production collective Underworld Online.[1]

Career

edit

Clayco began making beats in 2015. He has cited New York rap and R&B as early influences, music he was exposed to through his parents.[3] He uses FL Studio for production.[3]

He connected with Destroy Lonely in late 2019. The two worked together regularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.[3] Clayco produced the title track of Destroy Lonely's 2023 album If Looks Could Kill, along with other songs from the project.[1] In 2025, he produced tracks on Destroy Lonely's mixtape ᐸ/3³ alongside Cxdy, CADE, and Icemn.[2]

Rolling Stone Australia wrote that Clayco's collective Underworld Online balances "the sinister beats of early Three 6 Mafia and the melodic drama of The Cure."[1] He has also worked with Playboi Carti, ApolloRed1, and Molly Santana.[3]

In a 2026 interview, Clayco discussed plans to release music under his own name and expand Underworld Online.[3]

Production style

edit

Clayco's approach combines melody with percussion. He attributes this to the R&B and rap he heard growing up.[3] In discussing changes in hip-hop production between 2015 and 2026, he noted that the mid-2010s had "way more raw creativity" and that by 2026 he saw "new creatives coming up and bringing individuality back."[3]
