Tony Thierry Gaillard is a Swiss psychologist, federally licensed psychotherapist (REGPSY), and author. He is a member of the Fédération Suisse des Psychologues (FSP), the Geneva Association of Psychologists (AGPsy), and the European Association Nicolas Abraham and Maria Torok (AENAMT).[1][2][3]

His work covers a large range of domain, such as psychoanalysis, psychogenealogy, genetic and developmental psychologogy (J- Piaget) and Greec mythology, with particular expertise in Sophocle's works.

Career

Gaillard is the director of Conscious Developments Ltd. in Geneva, in charge of psychotherapeutic services. He is registered in the Swiss federal registry of psychotherapists (REGPSY) and collaborates with several professional networks in Switzerland.[4]

He also conducts independent research in psychoanalysis, transgenerational heritages, and symbolic anthropology, all publisehd in a collective collection at Genesis Editions in Geneva. His has published bestseller books in French, appeared on specialized Television program and journals.

Gaillard has written on psychoanalytic and transgenerational approaches to the myth of Oedipus. His publications discuss concepts such as unconscious familial transmissions, symbolic debts, and narrative patterns identified in the Oedipal cycle. Critical reception

Gaillard’s book À propos de la métamorphose d’Œdipe en héros de Colone was the subject of a detailed review by Professor Claude Tapia in the Journal des Psychologues (no. 381, October 2020).[7]

His work has also been examined in the academic journal Connexions (Cairn, 2015), which discussed his contributions to psychogenealogy.[8]

The academic platform Lectures (OpenEdition) published a review note on one of his books, highlighting aspects of his contribution to the study of Oedipus-related themes.[9]
