The Wayfarer Incident is a band from Austin, Texas. They are known for their garage punk and lo-fi hard rock. The band consists of a primary lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter Matthew Wattles. They released their debut, self-titled album in 2016. Since then they have produced several albums including Calloused Germs and Axiology.
The band has performed as a duo and trio live. They are known for their raw sounds and eclectic versatility. Ranging from classic rock and oldies style garage to contemporary noise rock and experimental.
Members of The Wayfarer Incident are involved in other musical projects such as Black Market High and Delayed Sessions. The band has an influential aptitude for digital artwork and literature.
