• Comment: Vague and superficial analysis such as Following their debut, The Sharpes continued to build their presence on social media platforms as a standalone group, drawing on the audience they developed through their earlier work with the Sharpe Family Singers while expanding their reach through original music and digital platforms is characteristic of LLM usage. History

edit

The Sharpes originated as part of the Sharpe Family Singers, a family musical group from Basking Ridge, New Jersey, consisting of parents Ron Sharpe and Barbra Russell- Sharpe and their four children: Samantha, Logan, and twins Aidan and Connor. The family’s musical background is rooted in theater, with the parents having performed on Broadway playing Marius and Cosette in Les Misérables and later producing A Catered Affair and A Tale of Two Cities with Jill Santoriello, which influenced the children’s early involvement in music and performance.[11][12][13][14].

The siblings began performing publicly at a young age as members of the Sharpe Family Singers, participating in live shows and performances. The group gained wider recognition after expanding to social media platforms in early 2020, where their covers of popular songs and musical theater pieces went viral, attracting millions of views and followers across platforms such as TikTok and YouTube[15]

Their growing online popularity led to broader media exposure and television appearances. In 2023, the Sharpe Family Singers competed on the eighteenth season of America's Got Talent, where their performances introduced them to a national audience and further increased their visibility.[14]

In May 2025, Samantha, Logan, Aidan, and Connor announced on social media that they will form a new musical group called The Sharpes.[16]. As a separate group, they marked a transition from performing as part of the family group to developing their own identity as an independent act. The group debuted with the single “BTW,” released on May 30, 2025, a disco-pop track produced by that signaled a new musical direction and a more contemporary sound[3]
