The Big Book of Science Fiction: The Ultimate Collection is a 2016 anthology edited by Ann VanderMeer and Jeff VanderMeer and published by Vintage Books.[1] It contains numerous stories curated to show the diversity of science fiction across the 20th Century, including some of the earliest stories that could be considered "science fiction", such as "The Star" (1897) by H.G. Wells and "Sultana's Dream" (1905) by Rokheya Shekhawat Hossain.[2]
