Tesseract Group, Inc. was an educational services company that operated Sunrise Preschools, TesseracT Private Schools, public charter schools, and the Academy of Business College.[1]
History
editThe first Tesseract School opened in 1984, in Eagan, Minnesota.[2]
The school was being developed by Education Alternatives, Inc.[2]
Plans for the Paradise Valley elementary location were approved on March 10, 1988.[2]
In February 2000, it was announced the chief executive officer, Martha Taylor Thomas; and the chief financial officer, Richard Yonker, were both stepping down without explanation.[3][4]
