How to improve a draft
You can also browse Wikipedia:Featured articles and Wikipedia:Good articles to find examples of Wikipedia's best writing on topics similar to your proposed article. Improving your odds of a speedy review To improve your odds of a faster review, tag your draft with relevant WikiProject tags using the button below. This will let reviewers know a new draft has been submitted in their area of interest. For instance, if you wrote about a female astronomer, you would want to add the Biography, Astronomy, and Women scientists tags. Editor resources

Comment: He meets criteria 1 of WP:NPROF. His work has been cited over 22000 times according to Google Scholar.
Comment: I am resubmitting based on last reviewer's permission to get a second opinion. Although he is an associate professor, but his research out put has been significant. He has over 14,000 citations according to Scopus. On Google Scholar, he is the last author on two papers with over a 1000 cites. Last author is the one who has lead the research. Most of his papers do not have a lot of co-authors, only 4 to 5. I have also used OpenAlex to conduct a comparative analysis of his citation count with his co-authors, capping co-authors to over 50 published articles, so that student co-authors are not included in the analysis. Pool mean was 4803 citation count, where as he has 10,602 citations. Finally he received the Highly Cited Researchers awards from Clarivate in 2025. Per the last reviewers comments, I have adjusted tone to avoid sound like a resume.HRShami (talk) 10:01, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
Comment: I do not think he passes NPROF:1. He is not the primary author of most of the publications. He is an associate professor and many of the publications he is the primary author of are in open-access journals. You are welcome to resubmit for a second opinion. Sudhakar Kumarasamy is an Indian-born academic, researcher, and author. He is an associate professor and principal research fellow at the Universiti Malaysia Pahang. He has conducted research on sustainable energy transitions, solar photovoltaics, exergy analysis, sustainability, decarbonization, climate policy, and bioenergy. He is a recipient of the Highly Cited Researcher Award from Clarivate.
Education
editKumarasamy received a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering from Government College of Engineering, Salem, affiliated with the University of Madras, in 2001, and a Master of Technology in energy management from Devi Ahilya University in 2006 and then completed a PhD in energy engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli in 2013.[1]
Career
editAfter completing his master's degree, Kumarasamy held teaching and research positions in India, including at Annai Teresa College of Engineering (affiliated with Anna University) and, from 2010 to 2017, as an assistant professor at the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology in Bhopal.[1] In 2017 he joined Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMPSA) as a senior lecturer, where he is an associate professor and principal research fellow.[2]
Research
editKumarasamy's research has focused on renewable energy systems, solar energy technologies and sustainable energy modeling. His work has examined solar photovoltaic (PV) system performance,[3] floating photovoltaic (FPV) systems,[4] and nano-based electrical transmission systems.[5] He has also investigated building-integrated photovoltaic/thermal (BIPVT) systems for net-zero emission buildings.[6] His studies addressed energy consumption and carbon emissions through building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) systems,[7] along with energy and exergy analysis.[8]
Kumarasamy has also studied agrivoltaic systems,[9] passive cooling techniques in photovoltaic systems,[10] and self-cleaning glass for solar photovoltaics.[11]
Kumarasamy developed a hybrid solar biomass dryer designed to ensure reliable agro-product drying under varying weather conditions[12] and reported biofuel classifications, biodiesel synthesis, and their applications in engines and the agricultural sector.[13]
