Sierra Signorelli is an insurance executive who serves as chief executive officer of Zurich's U.S. business and chief executive officer of the company's global commercial insurance business.[1] She has led Zurich's commercial insurance business since 2021.[2][4]
Career
editAfter a brief period in environmental consulting, Signorelli moved into environmental insurance.[3] She spent 17 years at American International Group (AIG), where she worked in Los Angeles, New York, and Singapore before joining Zurich in 2017.[3][4]
At Zurich, Signorelli joined as chief underwriting officer for commercial insurance and later became group chief underwriting officer.[2] In March 2021, Zurich appointed her chief executive officer of Commercial Insurance and a member of the executive committee, succeeding James Shea.[2][4]
In January 2026, she was appointed to lead Zurich's U.S. business while continuing as chief executive officer of the company's global commercial insurance business.[1] In industry coverage, she has been associated with Zurich's growth strategy in middle-market and specialty lines.[5]
