The company is also present in Benin, where it develops an artificial intelligence-powered platform used to identify illegal websites, initiate procedures for their closure, and supervise licensed operators[2].

That same year, the company received the Innovation Award at France Digitale day for its technology used to detect and report illegal online platforms[5].

Sharp Vision appeared among the companies still in the running in Angola[6] as part of a call for applications relating to payment control in the online betting sector. The company was also mentioned in technical and institutional cooperation initiatives in West Africa, including demonstrations of supervision solutions organized in Guinea with Congolese public partners[4][7].

Some publications have reported historical links between Sharp Vision and Honoré Gaming, including financial or shareholder-related connections between the two companies[9]. Sharp Vision stated in a right of reply that the two companies are legally and operationally separate, with distinct management, offices and staff.[10][11]

Allegations relating to certain African operations

In 2025 and 2026, African media outlets published articles questioning certain contracts awarded to the company and its role in different countries.[12] Sharp Vision disputed these claims stating that it operates independently, with its own management, offices, and staff.[13]
