Shani Darden Shani Darden is an American esthetician, skincare expert, and entrepreneur. She is the founder of Shani Darden Skin Care and is known for her work as a celebrity esthetician in Los Angeles. Early life and career Darden grew up in Plattsburgh, New York. Before entering the skincare industry, she pursued modeling and later worked in massage therapy. She eventually transitioned into esthetics and trained under a dermatologist, where she developed her approach to treating skin through professional facials and home-care routines. Career Darden became known in Los Angeles for her customized facial treatments and work with clients in the entertainment industry. Her clientele has been reported to include Jessica Alba, Chrissy Teigen, Shay Mitchell, Kelly Rowland, and Jennifer Aniston. In 2013, Darden launched her skincare brand, Shani Darden Skin Care, beginning with Retinol Reform, a retinol product developed as a gentler alternative to prescription retinoids. The brand later expanded to include cleansers, moisturizers, exfoliating treatments, serums, and skincare devices. In 2019, Darden opened a skincare studio in Beverly Hills. The studio offers customized facial treatments and professional skincare services.
