The history of SAJDI dates back to 1974, with the establishment of the Consulting Engineering center (CEC) in Amman, By Eng. Aziz Abdo Sajdi, with a focus on a laboratory for materials and soil investigations. Eventually, the company expanded its scope of services to include engineering consultancy. Later in the 1980s-1990s, under the management of Eng. Izzat Sajdi, they grew into a multidisciplinary company providing engineering consulting services in areas such as Water, Sanitation, and Infrastructure Projects. During the late 1990s, the company operated in different countries within the African and Asia with projects funded by institutions like the World Bank, KfW, BADEA, and the Islamic Development Bank. Later in the 2000s-2010s, they developed their standard operating procedures and began to implement internationally recognised management standards, such as ISO - Certified standards. During these years, they diversified their work to include larger regional projects. Since 2010s, the third generation has joined the company with a perspective towards the modernization of the company through the development of digital design capabilities, implementation of new project management systems, and the introduction of Sustainability in their decisions.
