Riverina Raptors FC is a representative association football team based in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. The club is affiliated with Football Wagga Wagga and was established to provide elite players from across the Riverina with opportunities to compete against high-level opposition and access advanced player development pathways.
The team operates as a select representative squad, drawing players from local clubs within the Football Wagga district and surrounding areas, including Wagga United FC, Lake Albert SC, Henwood Park FC, Tolland FC, Young SC, Hanwood FC, Griffith City FC, Yoogali FC and Leeton FC. Players are recruited from towns across the region such as Wagga Wagga, Griffith, Leeton and Young (surrounding towns)
Riverina Raptors FC competes in regional and interstate tournaments, most notably the Macron Cup (formerly the Riverina Cup), where they have faced opposition including APIA Leichhardt FC and GV Suns. In 2025, the club participated in the Interstate Men's Soccer Tournament in Mildura, reaching the grand final against the South Australian Amateur Soccer League (SAASL) representative team. The club remained active in 2026, competing in the Macron Cup held in Leeton.
For the 2025 and 2026 seasons, the representative squad was overseen by a selected coaching and administrative group. The leadership includes Simon Lok, founder and president of the club, along with coaches Liam Dedini, Chris Ayton, and Ross Morgan. Media and promotional responsibilities are managed by Matthew Piccoli. This group was appointed to lead the team during major representative events, including the 2025 Mildura tournament and the 2026 Macron Cup.
