Rima Assi Rahbani (Arabic: ريما عاصي الرحباني; also spelled Reema Rahbany; born 1965) is a Lebanese filmmaker and writer, mainly known for her documentaries on her mother, singer Fairuz (Nouhad Haddad), and her father, composer Assi Rahbani.[1][2]
Among her most notable works is the documentary film Kenit Hkeyi (كانت حكاية; It Was a Story), which explores the lives of her parents and was produced in 2009 to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of her father's passing; she is also known for directing Tahiya (تحية; Tribute).[1][2][3][4] In recent years, she has also worked as a producer for her mother's recordings.[5]
