Owen Tooth is a British film and television director. He is notable for making history as the first disabled person to direct EastEnders, with his episodes airing shortly after the series' 40th anniversary in May 2025.[1].

In June 2025 he joined Broadcast Magazine's 'Hot Shots' list of the industry's rising stars[2] and in December 2025, he became a BAFTA Breakthrough [3].

He has directed a number of award-winning shorts, including the Netflix Documentary Talent Fund short documentary, Band (2025 [4], as well as 2nd unit for Big Boys (2024), Horrible Histories (2024), Horrible Science, and his debut feature film Devil's Tower (2014).
