Nay Lin Soe (born 14 March 1981) is a Myanmar disability rights activist, consultant, and trainer working on disability inclusion, accessibility, and inclusive development. His work has been featured by international organizations such as the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and covered by media outlets including The Irrawaddy and The New Humanitarian.[1][2][3]

Early life

Nay Lin Soe was born in Myanmar on 14 March 1981. He was diagnosed with post-polio at the age of three and uses a wheelchair.[4]

He began his career working with organizations supporting persons with disabilities, including roles in community-based rehabilitation, training, and disability support programmes.[5]

Disability rights advocacy

Nay Lin Soe has been involved in disability rights advocacy and organizational work in Myanmar, including initiatives related to accessibility, political participation, and inclusion of persons with disabilities.[6][7]

He was involved in the establishment of the Myanmar Independent Living Initiative (MILI), an organization of persons with disabilities.
