Natasha Moor (born April 29, 1990) is a Hong Kong-born entrepreneur, media personality, creative strategist, and makeup artist. She is the founder of Natasha Moor Cosmetics, an international beauty brand focused on confidence, emotional wellbeing, accessible luxury, and multicultural beauty. She is also the co-founder of My Friends Brand, a branding and creative strategy agency, and serves as Chief Communications Officer of Avesta Bio, a biotechnology company focused on cancer therapeutics and oncology research. Moor began her career in fashion media, television hosting, public relations, and creative production in Hong Kong before becoming known internationally as a destination bridal makeup artist, particularly within the South Asian luxury wedding industry. She later expanded into beauty product development and global retail distribution through Natasha Moor Cosmetics, which has been distributed through platforms and retailers including Sephora Southeast Asia, Macy’s online, Amazon, Nykaa, The Curateur, and other international e-commerce channels.
Moor has been featured in publications including Tatler Asia, South China Morning Post, Khaleej Times, Hive Life, Elle, and GQ India. In 2021, she was named to Tatler Asia Gen.T’s Leaders of Tomorrow list for Hong Kong.
Early life and education
Moor was born in Hong Kong to Indian parents. Her mother, Sweetie Sajnani, was born in Manila, Philippines, and her father, Raj Sajnani, was born in Lucknow, India, before relocating to Hong Kong as a child. Her father is an author, coach, and leadership trainer known for his work in personal development and communication.
Raised across Indian, Filipino, and Hong Kong cultures, Moor was exposed to multiple languages and cultural influences from an early age. She is fluent in English and Tagalog and speaks conversational Cantonese and Hindi. Her mother speaks Tagalog and Visayan languages, while her father speaks Cantonese, Hindi, and English.
Moor spent most of her childhood in Hong Kong, where she attended Sunnyside Kindergarten, Kowloon Junior School, and King George V School. At the age of eight, following her parents’ separation, she moved to Manila, Philippines, where she lived for approximately two years and attended Colegio San Agustin in Dasmariñas Village. She later returned to Hong Kong and continued her education at Kowloon Junior School and King George V School.
After high school, Moor moved to London to study at the London College of Fashion, part of University of the Arts London. She studied public relations, with a focus on marketing, communications, and broadcast journalism. During her time in London, she completed internships across fashion, luxury branding, and media, including placements with Gieves & Hawkes on Savile Row and Giorgio Armani’s press department. She also contributed freelance editorial writing while balancing part-time work and student leadership roles.
