Mochamad Abdul Ghofur, L.c., M.Pd.I. (born March 27, 1985) is an Indonesian academic, Islamic researcher, and the principal of the Al-Kautsar Islamic Boarding School in Tanjung Jabung Timur, Jambi. He is recognized for his research on the integration of Islamic values in the digital era and contemporary Sharia jurisprudence.[1]
Education
editGhofur completed his secondary education at the Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor in 2004. He earned his bachelor's degree in Sharia and Arabic Language from the International University of Africa in Sudan. He later obtained a master's degree in Islamic Education from Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya (UIN Sunan Ampel).
Career
editGhofur is an active researcher registered with the Indonesian national research database. In 2021, while serving as the Head of the Center for Foreign Language Development at the Institut Pesantren KH. Abdul Chalim (IKHAC) in Mojokerto, he was appointed as a member of the Review Team for National Competency Standards (SKL) by the Ministry of Education and Culture.[2] Currently, he serves as the Mudir (Principal) of the Al-Kautsar Islamic Boarding School in Dendang, Jambi. His leadership focuses on the "Modern Ashabul Kahfi" educational framework, designed to address challenges of digital disruption among students.[3]
