Milkverse

Milkverse is a fictional trope inspired by the Omegaverse and it's variation Cakeverse. The trope was created by AO3 fanfic writer: Wink_Wonk_Wank_Wenk as a subgenere of erotic fiction. Instead of A/B/O or Forks, Cakes, and Normals it uses Cows and Bulls. They are second genders of male and female and the features of them show through ears, horns, and sometimes tails as human-hybrids. This trope primarily focuses on lactation, nipple stimulation, and oral fixations.

Basic Elements

Milk Trade

Milk is used as currency amongst cattle (communities of Cows and Bulls) to aid in each other in whatever one herd (which can be thought of as a nation or "Lands") lacks. Lands that lack Cows with nutrient-dense milk will trade with a herd that produces it, benefiting both communities through better goods like food and clothing.

Cows

Cows are people who produce milk naturally. The taste is up to the author but in standard writing it has its own properties depending on where the Cow is from. For example, if a Cow has lived a luxury life the milk is likely to be light and less filling due to not having a need to nourish. If a Cow has lived a harder life they'll have thicker milk that is full of nutrients, as their milk needed to keep their community afloat. Most produce one to two times per day but some Cows are known as "Super producers" and produce several times a day, causing them to be highly valued in their communities and sometimes a leader if the herd chooses.

Cows have both reproductive organs if male, allowing both sexes of Cows to carry calfs. Their incubation time is roughly ten months and during this time they produce much more milk, so herds tend to push Cows to breed. To keep them from being exploited, Boss Cows are in charge of deciding what Cows are bred and how often.

Boss Cows

Despite the name, Boss Cows can be a Cow or Bull. They are chosen by their herd and remain in charge for their remaining lifetime. They are responsible for keeping Bulls in line, arranging breeding and bonds, along with migration and trade. If trade slows, they are held responsible and must take action to prevent trade from stopping. Typically they'll introduce hormones into a Cows feed or blood to cause more production, but this is a drastic and often cruel measure that is usually only taken if the Bulls of the herd deem it necessary.

Bulls

Biologically stronger than Cows and often more territorial, they often make the more major decisions with the goal of keeping cattle and Lands safe. This duty ranges from setting rules (which must be approved and implemented by the Boss Cow) and standards for the herd. If female, they have both reproductive organs. Despite this, female Bulls are only able to impregnate Cows in most situations due to having inactive uteruses.
