Marte Hentschel (born 24 October 1980) is a German professor, entrepreneur and expert in sustainable fashion. She teaches at BSP Business & Law School in Berlin and is co-founder and co-CEO of VORN – The Berlin Fashion Hub.

Career
editHentschel studied fashion design at HTW Berlin. In 2007 she founded Common Works, a production agency focused on sustainable practices. In 2015 she started Sqetch, a digital B2B platform that connects fashion brands with sustainable manufacturers.[1]
In 2021 she co-founded VORN – The Berlin Fashion Hub, a cooperative that works as both a physical space and a digital platform for sustainable fashion innovation.[1]
Since October 2022 she has been Professor of Sustainable Fashion at BSP Business & Law School.[2]
Projects
editIn 2016 she organized the Fashion Hack Day in Berlin together with re:publica — a hackathon dedicated to smart textiles and wearable technology.[3]
