Plot

Naveena (Naveen Sajju) is a carefree village youth deeply in love with Asha (Varsha Giridhar). When Asha's traditional family arranges her marriage to another man, a desperate Asha asks Naveena to help her elope. Naveena and his eccentric and fun group of friends quickly orchestrate a chaotic midnight escape, which runs parallel to a comedic subplot involving Ninganna (Mallaraju Narasingaiah), an older local villager desperately searching for a bride.

While the journey begins with humorous mishaps and rural comedy, it takes a sharp emotional turn at the mid-point. Naveena discovers a fundamental misunderstanding regarding Asha’s true motivations for running away, which completely shatters his romantic expectations. Following this revelation, the narrative shifts from lighthearted village antics to an urban setting, focusing on Naveena's move to the city to find work and cope with the immediate heartbreak.

In the city, Naveena transitions into a gig worker, taking up demanding jobs as a bar supplier and later as a delivery boy. This environment forces him to mature rapidly as he quietly processes his disappointment without the familiar comfort of his village support system. During this phase, he encounters Basumathi (Reshma V Gowda), leading to a series of initial misunderstandings that gradually challenge his perspective on life and relationships.

Ultimately, the film transitions from a story about a desperate pursuit of love to an exploration of self-discovery and emotional maturity. Naveena eventually reunites with Asha under changed circumstances.
