Leiter is an independent music label based in Kreuzberg, Berlin.[1][2] It was founded by Nils Frahm and his long-time manager Felix Grimm in 2020.[3][1][4][5] As of 2026, Leiter is managed by Felix Grimm and Ben Czernek.[2] The label’s roster includes Nils Frahm, The CaretakerAnoushka Shankar, ganavya, and Holland Andrews.[1][6]

Piano Day

Frahm founded Piano Day on March 29, 2015, on the 88th day of the year to honor the 88-key piano instrument and its cultural impact.[9][10] LEITER manages the now international event by collecting and archiving worldwide performances on Piano Day, and by releasing companion albums every year on Piano Day featuring piano compositions composed to honour the day.[11]
