Lata Gupta is an Indian politician associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She has served as an elected councillor in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Gupta was first elected from the Shakarpur ward in the 2007 Municipal Corporation elections and was re-elected from the Pandav Nagar ward in 2012. During her tenure, she served in various committees of the Municipal Corporation and held organizational responsibilities within the Bharatiya Janata Party.

editLata Gupta was born on 14 July 1974 in Morena district, Madhya Pradesh, India. She completed her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degrees.
Political career
editGupta became active in public life through social and organizational activities. She was elected as a councillor from Shakarpur ward in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections in 2007. In 2012, she was re-elected from Pandav Nagar ward. During her political career, she served on various committees of the Municipal Corporation and held responsibilities in the Bharatiya Janata Party's organizational structure.

editLata Gupta has held various organizational positions within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Delhi. As of 2026, she serves as a Vice President of the Delhi unit of the BJP.
Previously, she served as the President of the Shahdara District BJP and as the District General Secretary of the Shahdara District unit. She has also held several responsibilities within the BJP Mahila Morcha, including serving as a State General Secretary of the Delhi BJP Mahila Morcha. In addition, she has served as an in-charge for various organizational assignments within the Mahila Morcha.
