Krista Ann Ayne (born 30 July 1982) is an Italian-American actress, real estate agent, and model.[1] She was named Penthouse Magazine Pet of the Month for April 2006, and appeared in the viral music video for Pittsburg Slim's 2007 Billboard Top 40 hit "Girls Kiss Girls".[2][3][4] Besides Penthouse, she has appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone and Steppin' Out.
Biography
editKrista Ayne was born as Krista A. Truglio on 30 July 1982 on Staten Island borough, New York City. She was raised in New York and educated at a conservative girls-only Catholic high school operated by nuns.[5][6][7]
Ayne comes from a large, relatively traditional Catholic family and continues to identify with the Christian faith in which she was raised.[8] As a child, she always wanted to become a veterinarian, but her fascination with modelling began at an early age.[9]
Ayne started modelling professionally when she was nine years old, with her first major role for the L'Oréal Group haircare brand Redken at nineteen years of age.[8] She played the female lead role in a grade school production of the Fiddler on the Roof.
She has appeared in advertising campaigns for Verizon, Azzure Denim, Paco Jeans, and Becks Beer.[10] In 2004, she appeared as the lead in the music video for the single by Jesse McCartney, "Beautiful Soul".
In 2005, she featured in 50 Cent's music video for the single "Outta Control", which as of April 2026 has received over 218 million views on the video-sharing platform, YouTube.[11][12][13]
By 2007, Ayne had appeared on the cover of Penthouse Magazine three times, as well as featuring on Playboy magazine's card collections in 2005, 2006, and 2011.[14][15] She was named Pet of the Month during 2006 and Pet of the Year runner-up to Heather Vandeven for 2007.[16][17][18][19] In October 2007, Ayne appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone alongside Kid Rock, Nicole Herold, Maria Smith and Alyssa Lipsky.[20][21] She was one of a number of Penthouse Pets cited in Victoria Zdrok's 2008 book, Dr. Z on Scoring and appeared in the 2013 publication Penthouse: 45th Anniversary Special Edition: The Hottest Girls Since 1969.[22][23]
In 2007, Ayne featured in the viral music video for American rapper Pittsburgh Slim's Billboard Top 40 single "Girls Kiss Girls", directed by renown Norwegian director and photographer Ray Kay.[24][25] By December 2007, the New York Post reported that the music video, inspired by a scene from the 1999 movie American Pie, had been viewed nearly one million times on the video-sharing platform, YouTube.[3][4] The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette called the video a "YouTube sensation" and reported that it led to the single getting radio spins around the country.[4] According to The Minnesota Star Tribune, the music video was largely responsible for the "huge boost" to Pittsburg Slim's popularity.[26]
As of March 2026, the "Girls Kiss Girls" YouTube music video on Pittsburgh Slim's VEVO YouTube channel, the latest version of which was uploaded on 17 June 2009, has been viewed more than 129 million times.[27]
Between 2006 and 2018, Ayne took on several roles in film and television, including the films Kettle of Fish (2006), Rockaway (2007), and 1,000 Times More Brutal (2012).[28][29] She has also appeared as a guest in some series for the television channel Fuse TV and in The Howard Stern Show.[30] She also featured in American rock band Semi Precious Weapons' music video for their 2010 single "Look at Me".[31]
In 2009, she was a regular cast member of the American TV series Life on Top from Cinemax, appearing in fourteen episodes.[32][33] The series is adapted from the novel of the same name by Clara Darling, who credits Ayne alongside other Penthouse Pets for "their inspiration".[34] Her most recent film role was as Anna the Alien in Michael Leavy's fantasy feature Abnormal Attraction (2018).[30][35][36]
Since 2016, Ayne has worked as a real estate agent in New York City.
As reported in New York Daily News, she has been in relationships with Kid Rock and Jared Leto.[37]
