History
editJones Junction traces its origins to 1917, when C.M. Jones established an automotive sales and service business in North Carolina. The business later relocated to Maryland, where it expanded under subsequent generations of the Jones family.
In 1967, the company obtained a Toyota franchise. According to company and local reports, the dealership is among the earliest Toyota franchises established in the United States and has been described as one of the oldest continuously operating Toyota dealerships in Maryland.[1]
The company expanded to Bel Air, Maryland, in 1972 and later consolidated multiple affiliated dealerships into a single campus, which became known as “Jones Junction.”

editJones Junction operates multiple franchised automobile dealerships in Bel Air, Maryland, representing several vehicle manufacturers, including Toyota, Subaru, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram.
In addition to new vehicle sales, the company operates used vehicle sales, service and repair facilities, and a collision center. Jones Junction has been included in the annual Top 150 Dealership Groups ranking published by Automotive News, which lists the largest automotive retail groups in the United States based on vehicle sales.[2]

In 2024, Danny and Gail Jones donated $20 million to University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health to support the development of healthcare facilities in the region. The donation was reported by local media as the largest single gift in the organization’s history.[3]
