Jeremy Hecklinski (born July 13, 2004) is an American football quarterback for the Iowa Hawkeyes. He previously played for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
Early life
editHecklinski grew up in Marietta, Georgia and attended George Walton Comprehensive High School. As a junior, he threw approximately 1,002 yards and 10 touchdowns.[1] As a senior, he amassed 3,835 passing yards and 50 touchdowns, helping the team to a Georgia 7A state championship appearance.[2] On December 14, 2022, Hecklinski would commit to play college football at Wake Forest.[3] He would commit to play at the All-American Bowl.[4]

editDuring Hecklinski's true freshman season in 2024, he only saw action against North Carolina, recording three snaps.[5]
On April 14, 2025, Hecklinski announced that he would enter the transfer portal.[6]
