Jason Her is an American actor and cultural consultant. He began his career as a Voice and ADR Voice actor on such films and television shows as Unusual Suspects (TV program), Avengers: Age of Ultron, This Is Us, Kingdom (South Korean TV series), Black Panther (film), Butterfly (2025 TV series), and KPop Demon Hunters.[1] before his recurring role as the "fixer" and Chief Counsel to Chief Counsel to Chairwoman Park in Beef (TV series) Season 2[2]
Early life and career
editHer began his career in the mid-2010s, initially specializing in voice-over work and Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR). His early credits include providing additional voices for high-profile films, such as Marvel Studios' Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) and Black Panther (2018), as well as the Netflix animated musical KPop Demon Hunters (2025). During this period, he also made guest appearances on several American television series, such as Criminal Minds, This Is Us, and Magnum P.I.[3]
Consulting and breakthrough
editHer transitioned into specialized production roles in the early 2020s, becoming a cultural consultant and dialect coach for Hollywood productions. He provided cultural and linguistic guidance for projects such as the horror film Umma (2022) and the Amazon Prime Video series The Consultant (2023).
In 2026, Her achieved wider recognition as a cultural consultant on the film K-Pops!, with a minor acting role as a supporting actor and the production's cultural consultant. This was followed by his role in the second season of the Netflix anthology series Beef. In the series, he portrays the Chief Counsel and "fixer" for Chairwoman Park (played by Youn Yuh-jung), a role central to the season's primary legal scandal and cover-up plotline.
