Jaden Smith (born 8 December 2004) is a British sprinter.[1]

Early and personal life

Smith is the son of Darrell Smith and Tasha Danvers and has two sisters. He grew up in Los Angeles, but also lived in the UK as a child. He attended St John Bosco High School and San José State University.[2][3][4]

Career

Competing at the 2024 British Athletics Championships in Manchester, Smith qualified for the final of the 400 metres, and placed fourth overall.[5] In November 2024, he was named by British Athletics on the Olympic Futures Programme for 2025.[6] That year, he began to compete in the American collegiate system for the University of Arkansas.[7]

Smith qualified for the 400 metres at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championships, but did not reach the final.[8] He placed third with the Arkansas 4x400m relay team at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships in June 2025.[9][10] In October 2025, he was retained on the British Athletics Olympic Futures Programme for 2025/26.[11]
