Career

edit

Upon graduating high school in May of 2022, Jada Denise began working with Dray Skky. This was confirmed on May 16, 2022, after Dray Skky posted on her Instagram story a photo of Jada Denise with the caption "Babygirl Said Auntie, I'm ready to take my Music Seriously". Sources are unable to confirm if Jada Denise is the biological niece of Dray Skky or if the statement was just a term of endearment.

In June of 2022, Dray Skky and Jada Denise posted LIVE feeds from various recording studios in Atlanta, Georgia, Miami, Florida, and Charlotte, North Carolina..[1]

In August of 2022, Jada Denise released her debut Single "UnWorthy" written by Dray Skky and Julius Singletary[2]

On March 3, 2023, Jada Denise appeared on the Ts Madison Live Show with two other aspiring artists from Atlanta[3]. During the show, many speculated that the trio was a group, but the ladies and Ts Madison were adamant that they were not. The girls did admit, during the same interview, that they had recorded TikTok and Instagram videos together while attending performing arts school in Atlanta[4]

Psiryn

edit

On March 18, 2023, Jada Denise, Anaya Cheyenne, and Victoria McQueen performed on Nick Cannon's "Next Superstar Tour" in Atlanta.[5]. The tour allowed aspiring unsigned artists/groups/bands an opportunity to receive a $5K Scholarship towards their music and a mentorship with a local industry professional. [6]. These three girls introduced themselves that night as Psiryn.[7]. The video of Psiryn singing, while backstage, a rendition of Sweet Love by Anita Baker went viral with celebrities like Halle Bailey and Anita Baker herself complimenting Psiryn for their vocal talent[8].

In a May 2023 Interview with Revolt TV, the UK R&B Group Flo commented that they were excited about the new group Psiryn[9]

Psiryn released its debut single "Sober" in July of 2024, becoming the first female group in 23 years to Chart #1 on Billboard's Adult R&B Airplay [10].

Almost a year later, Psiryn released its second single "The Softest" in April of 2025 [11]. Then the full EP was released in June of 2025 entitled "In the Key of Us" [12].

Kandi Burruss has shown strong excitement for the group Psiryn and has constantly noted Nick Cannon as being a part of the vision.[13][14]
