Fleetworthy is an American transportation-technology company that provides toll-payment management, weigh station bypass services, and safety and compliance software for commercial trucking fleets. The company was founded in 2001 as Bestpass and later expanded through acquisitions into compliance and fleet technology markets.[1]
History
editFleetworthy is the public name (DBA) for the company originally known as Bestpass. Bestpass was founded in 2001 in Albany, New York as a fleet technology company offering toll management software.[2]
In 2023, Bestpass acquired Wisconsin-based Fleetworthy Solutions, another fleet technology company founded in 1983.[3]
In 2024, Bestpass acquired Drivewyze, a weigh station bypass and safety-alert service operating in North America.[4] Later in 2024, the company consolidated its brands under the name Fleetworthy.[5]
Offices
editFleetworthy's headquarters is located in Albany, NY. This location serves as the main hub for IT and sales services. Fleetworthy also has other office locations across the United States and Canada, including a major hub in Madison, WI.
Marketing
editBranding
editFleetworthy branding reflects contrasting black and red colors, with a logo that evokes flight and motion. This branding was carried forward after the acquisition of Fleetworthy Solutions by Bestpass, replacing the previously blue-dominated branding of the parent Bestpass company.
Advertising
editFleetworthy has repeatedly used a coined term, "Fleet Readiness[6]" to describe its software solutions in advertising. This phrase has not been used widely across the industry and is associated with the company as of 2025.
Products
editToll management
editThe original parent company, Bestpass, was founded as an electronic toll payment service specialized for fleets that drive across North America. Fleetworthy continues to offer this toll management solution as part of its combined offerings[7].
Fleet compliance
editAs of the acquisitions of Fleetworthy Services and Haul, Fleetworthy offers compliance software and advisors[8] to help trucking fleets stay in accordance with government compliance requirements and avoid or navigate audits.
Weigh station bypass
editSafety alerts
editAs part of the Drivewyze acquisition, Fleetworthy also inherited their driver safety alerts. These in-cab alerts continue to be served [10]through the company's apps.
