Finca Adalgisa is hotel within a vineyard in the village of Chacras de Coria, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza Province, Argentina. The property is family owned. Opened to guests in 2002, it has appeared in international publications discussing wine tourism in the Mendoza region.[1][2][3]

History

The Malbec vineyard was planted in 1916.[4] A few years later the property was aquired by Moretti family.[5] Years later, Gabriela Furlotti restored the finca and opened it as a wine hotel in October 2002.[1][4]

Wine production

The property has a small vineyard, its grapes are used to make the Finca Adalgisa Malbec. The first harvest took place in 2004. The winemaker Carmelo Patti of Mendoza was involved in the production..[6]

Finca Adalgisa was mentioned in several international publications related to wine tourism in Mendoza. The New York Times wrote about the property in a 2004 article about wine tourism in Mendoza.[1] The Wall Street Journal also mentioned the finca in 2008 in an articule about vineyards estates in Mendoza.[2] Financial Times included it in a 2009 article on Mendoza's wine region.[3]
