Filip Lissah (born 18 December 2004) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a Defender for Scottish Premiership club Falkirk, on loan from EFL Championship club Swansea City.
Club Career
editLissah joined Chelsea F.C. at Under-8s level before leaving the club in 2021. Lissah had a trial at Derby County F.C. prior to joining Swansea City.
Swansea City
editLissah signed for Swansea City in 2021, joining their U18s team. He signed his first professional contract in 2022.[1] Lissah signed a new 3 year contract, with a option for a further year, with Swansea City in 2024.[2]
Lissah made his senior professional debut in Swansea City's win over Bournemouth F.C. in January 2024.
Swansea U21s were one of two Welsh clubs who play in England, to be invited as a wildcard team to participate in the 2023–24 Welsh League Cup campaign. Filip captained the side in the final, as Swansea City U21s came up runners up, in a 5–1 loss to TNS.
Swansea U21s were invited to participate in the 2024–25 Welsh League Cup, they played Baglan Dragons F.C., where they went on to lose 5-3 on penalties. They participated in the 2025–26 Welsh League Cup campaign, exiting the competition in the third round, losing to Haverfordwest County A.F.C. 4-1.
Falkirk F.C. (loan)
editOn 1 September 2025, Lissah joined Scottish Premiership club Falkirk F.C. on a season-long loan.[3] Lissah made his Falkirk debut against Heart of Midlothian F.C.. in a 3-0 loss.
International Career
editEligible to represent England, Czech Republic, and Barbados, Lissah received his first international call up to Czech Republic national under-21 football team in March 2026.[4]
