Faheem Abdullah[1] is an Indian singer-songwriter and composer from Kashmir.[1] He co-composed and sang the title track of the 2025 Bollywood film "Saiyaara"[2][3] and released his debut album "Lost; Found" in 2024.[4]

Early life

Abdullah is from Kashmir.[2] According to "India Today", he has been active in music since approximately 2019.[4]

Career

Abdullah began releasing songs in 2020. His early song "Jhelum" became a hit in Kashmir, according to "The Hollywood Reporter India".[3]

In 2023, he signed with a label and released "Ishq" with Rauhan Malik.[3][5]

On 25 May 2024, Abdullah released his debut album "Lost; Found", a 14 track album featuring collaborations with artists including Parvaaz's Khalid Ahmed, Alif's Mohammed Muneem, Zeeshaan Nabi and Pho.[5] "India Today" described him as "one of the Kashmiri music scene's most exciting torchbearers.[4]

Bollywood career

In 2025, Abdullah and his longtime collaborator Arsalan Nizami co-composed and performed the title track for the Bollywood film "Saiyaara", directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films.[1][3][6]

Artistry

Abdullah cites RY X and the band Parvaaz as influences, his music often explores themes of love, longing, and his Kashmiri roots.[2] He has described his album title "Lost; Found" as representing "the tiny pause" between giving up and continuing forward.[5]
