Fabrizio Barbarossa (born March 25, 1966, in Pescara) is an Italian entrepreneur, author, and academic.

He graduated in Economics and Business in 1992 from the G. d'Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara.[1] Since the early 1990s, his research has focused on the application of artificial neural networks to law and economics. He presented the results of his experimental studies at international conferences, including the World Congress of Neural Networks in San Diego (1994) and the German Workshop on Artificial Intelligence (GWAI) in Bonn (1992).[2]

A chartered accountant and auditor, he has held institutional roles, including that of Extraordinary Government Commissioner of the Provincial Agricultural Consortium of L'Aquila, appointed by ministerial decree in 2003.[3]

He is the author of patents in the MarTech sector and founder of companies specializing in predictive automation. In 2010, he published the book Google Marketing, a reference text for the economic analysis of search engines.[4]

Academic activity

He is an adjunct professor at the G. d'Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara (Department of Economics), where he teaches "Digital Marketing and User Experience".[5] He also serves as a lecturer in executive management master's programs.

In 2022, he co-authored the study L'interfaccia Accounting-Marketing with Luca Ianni and Armando Della Porta, published in the scientific journal Management Control, examining the role of information systems in Customer Profitability Analysis.[6]
