editThe Paxton family has been involved in supplying pressure washers and related cleaning equipment since the 1970s, when Eric Paxton, a Royal Navy veteran, began building pressure washers and supplying local tradespeople from a garage in Maghull, Merseyside.[2][3]
According to reporting about the business, Jonathan Paxton joined the family business in 1988 and later became managing director.[3]
The company adopted the Equip2clean name in the mid-2000s and expanded its operations over time, including increased emphasis on online sales and customer service during the 2020s.[3]
