Dubai Stem Cell Congress (DSCC) is an annual scientific meeting focused on stem cell research and regenerative medicine. The congress brings together researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals to discuss developments in cell therapy, tissue engineering, and translational medicine.^[1]

History

2023

The inaugural Dubai Stem Cell Congress was held on 27-28 February 2023 at the Waldorf Astoria, The Palm, Dubai.^[2] The first edition included scientific sessions, keynote presentations, and discussions related to stem cell research and regenerative medicine. The 2023 congress listed Global Stem Cell Group, International Society for Stem Cell Application, Eppendorf, PL Bioscience, Medflex, and Leader Life Sciences as sponsors. ^[3]

2024

The second edition of the congress took place on 27–28 February 2024, again at the Waldorf Astoria, The Palm, Dubai.^[4] The 2024 program included sessions on cell therapy, biobanking, and clinical applications of regenerative medicine. ^[5] Sponsors for the 2024 edition included Cytomed, Leader Life Sciences, MGI, EHS, Cryotherm, Al Hayat, HVD Life Sciences and Medflex. ^[6]

2025

The 2025 edition of the Dubai Stem Cell Congress was held on 25–26 February 2025 at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.^[7] The program continued to focus on developments in regenerative medicine and the clinical use of stem cell-based therapies. ^[8] A joint session was conducted in collaboration with the International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy (ISCT), which addressed topics related to cell and gene therapy applications.

Fourth Edition (2026)

The 4th Dubai Stem Cell Congress is scheduled to take place from 7-8 February 2026 at the Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan, Dubai, UAE.^[9]

The 2026 edition carries the theme "Beyond Boundaries: Pioneering the Next Era of Regenerative Medicine." It is also the first edition to include specialized workshops and an exhibition segment alongside the main scientific program.
