Driftwood Builders Roofing is a roofing contractor based in the Austin metropolitan area in Texas. The company has participated in charitable home-repair projects and has appeared in local television and construction-industry media.[1][2]
History
editDriftwood Builders Roofing was established in the Austin area in the mid-2000s. The Austin Chamber of Commerce directory lists the company as having been founded in 2006.[3]
In 2025, Nicholas Riley acquired the company. Straight Arrow News discussed the acquisition in an article examining ownership changes in the home-services industry.[4]
Riley later discussed the acquisition and the company's development in an episode of the Meridian Pursuit Builders podcast. The interview covered the acquisition of an established roofing business, customer education, community involvement and business-growth strategy.[5]
Community projects
editIn 2018, KVUE reported that Driftwood Builders Roofing worked with Purple Heart Homes to install a roof at no cost for Tammy Musgrave, the widow of an Army veteran, at her home in Austin.[1]
In 2025, the Austin American-Statesman featured Mattie Freeman, a blind East Austin resident whose home required roof, siding, accessibility and other repairs, as part of its Season for Caring program.[6]
A sponsored article published by Community Impact stated that Riley and former owner Todd Munsinger were contributing personal funds toward repairs to Freeman's roof, siding and fascia.
