In 1977, he started his career in the TV industry as a presenter, with a weekly, 15 minutes travel-show in ERT-2 National TV channel called “EXPRESS 315”. This was then followed by a touristic chat show from 1979-1981, “FLIGHT AT 10,000 meters”[7] for OLYMPIC AIRWAYS. During this time from 1978-1983 he presented a weekly 30 mins radio programme for WEA (Warner Electra Atlantic) RECORDS for the ERT-2 Radio channel.

In a controversial move however, the then government banned its broadcast[10].

However this was cancelled when the hostess Aliki Vouyouklaki was suddenly diagnosed with cancer and passed away shortly after. Closing the 90s, he produced a TV special for renowned Greek star and Minister of Culture Melina Mercouri, LES GEANTS DU MUSIC HALL[12]. In that, Melina reconciled after an ongoing 30 year feud with the Oscar-winning composer Manos Hadjidakis, before she passed away [13].
