The Cockroach Students' Union of India (CSUI)[citation needed] is a student political organization in India associated with the Cockroach Janta Party. The organization primarily represents students and young people involved with the party's social and political campaigns. It was formed following the rapid rise of the Cockroach Janta Party on social media during 2026.[1][2]

CSUI describes itself as a youth-oriented student movement focused on issues such as unemployment, education reform, examination pressure, student rights, corruption, freedom of expression, and social equality. The organization gained attention online for using satire, memes, and digital activism to engage with students across India.[3]

The union is considered part of the wider online movement created around the Cockroach Janta Party, a satirical political campaign founded by Abhijeet Dipke in May 2026. The movement became popular among Generation Z and college students through Instagram and other social media platforms.[4][2][5]

Ideology

edit

CSUI supports student participation in politics, affordable education, transparency in recruitment examinations, mental health awareness, and youth representation in governance. The organization also promotes peaceful democratic protest and online political awareness campaigns.[4][6]

Activities

edit

The organization mainly operates through social media campaigns, student discussions, digital posters, and online membership drives. Several unofficial student groups and campus supporters have publicly shown support for the movement in different parts of India.[7][8]
