Bridget Ibenero is a Nigerian badminton player who competed at continental level events, including the African Badminton Championships.
Career
editIbenero represented Nigeria in international badminton competitions during the 1990s and early 2000s.
At the African Badminton Championships, she competed in multiple categories including women's singles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. At the 1996 African Badminton Championships held in Lagos, she finished among the medalists in the women's singles event.[1]
She also competed in the women's doubles and mixed doubles events at the same championships, partnering with other Nigerian players.[2]
At the 2000 African Badminton Championships in Bauchi, Ibenero again featured in the women's doubles and mixed doubles events, continuing her participation at the continental level.[3]
Other contributions
editIbenero has also been involved in sports-related academic work. She co-authored a study on nutrition and hydration strategies in athletic performance affiliated with the National Institute for Sports, Lagos.[4]
