Local News and Information

edit

From 7am until 6pm on weekdays, the stations own news team prepare local bulletins and these are followed by national news at the top of each hour. The stories are also uploaded to the website.

The station broadcasts from several studios across its transmission area, including locations in the city, Staffordshire moorlands and Cheshire. Presenters have access to a wide range of local information to pass on to listeners including a local what's-on diary, traffic and travel information and much more.

The Community Call-Out feature runs throughout the day and gives local charities and non-for profit organisations the opportunity to tell listeners about their organisations on-air. There is also a much longer interview with the organisations hosted on the stations website..
