Angelina Fares (Arabic: أنجلينا فارس) is a Palestinian-Norwegian individual who received media attention in Egypt in 2026 in connection with a legal case involving Egyptian actor.
Media coverage
editIn February 2026, Fares appeared on the television channel Al Shams TV, including on the program Basma with host Tamer Abdelmonem, where she discussed the case. Following these appearances, her statements were reported by Egyptian news outlets such as Cairo 24, Sada Misr, Misr Mubashir, and Tahat al‑Majhar.
According to these reports, Fares publicly supported a woman alleging sexual assault, and stated that she had been subjected to threats in response. She emphasized that she would not be silenced and defended her involvement in encouraging the accuser to report the incident.[1][2][3]
