Andy El-Bayeh (also published as Andrew El-Bayeh)[1] Australian marketing executive and the co-founder and chief executive officer of the communications agency Example.[2][3]

Career

El-Bayeh joined Merivale in 2011 as group venue marketing manager.[1] Merivale promoted him to marketing director in 2015, and he left the company at the end of 2016.[1][4][5]

In 2017, El-Bayeh co-founded the agency Example with Rebecca Jarvie-Gibbs, with whom he had previously worked at Merivale.[5][2] The agency launched in June 2017, specialising at the time in public relations for the hospitality, lifestyle and travel sectors, and later broadened into brand, creative and communications work.[6][7] In 2019, El-Bayeh and Jarvie-Gibbs opened Example House, a co-working space in Rushcutters Bay, Sydney.[8]

In April 2020, Example began a pro-bono initiative, named Good Example, for hospitality, travel and entertainment businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.[9][10] In September 2025, Example partnered with Accor to launch Table For, an in-house food and beverage group for the Pacific, as its founding creative partner.[3][11] In 2025, El-Bayeh relocated to Dubai to lead the agency's Middle East operations, and Example opened its Dubai office in November 2025.[12][2][3]

Awards and honours

El-Bayeh and Jarvie-Gibbs won the PR, Media and Events category of the 2021 Sydney Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.[12]
